Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
AppArmor supports HTTP connections using 256-bit SSL encryption. This ensures that data transmitted between you and the AppArmor systems is secure and can't be intercepted. When connected by SSL, you'll see a lock icon in your browser address bar. This reassures you that you're connected to a genuine AppArmor system.
Both hardware and software firewalls are used to ensure that only specified traffic is allowed to connect to our systems. The firewalls also protect any data from intruders.
All error messages, warning, and faults on AppArmor systems immediately generate a support incident for our security team. Our staff are constantly monitoring for irregular activity. All issues are investigated immediately and resolved.
Sensitive data is encrypted on our servers using AES encryption to ensure that it cannot be accessed without proper authorization.
AppArmor uses Microsoft Azure state-of-the-art datacenters for all of our systems. Azure features the most modern in data centre physical security, monitoring and reliability. More information is available on the Microsoft Azure Trust Center.
AppArmor's systems and data are stored in Microsoft Azure geo-redundant servers. This ensures that the systems keep running in the event of a hardware failure, and data can be restored from multiple physical locations if necessary.
